Industrial Clerk
Industrial clerks are must-haves in various kinds of corporate departments. They are found in financials and accounting, marketing and sales, materials management and human resources.
In this training, you learn to perform essential business tasks such as entering and checking all transactions in accounts and identifying the need for goods and services. Industrial clerks are familiar with a company’s operations and able to professionally support and advise customers.
Content of the Training:
Our training programme for future industrial clerks takes a flexible approach, in other words the order in which you learn about different topics isn’t fixed. What you can count on is that you will get to know all of the company’s departments and what is done there, like every other trainee. All that varies is the sequence.
The financial department deals with billing, purchasing goods and equipment and of course accounting. In legal affairs, you learn – for example – about the different legal forms and organisational structures that firms can have, along with the associated requirements and obligations. In marketing you are acquainted with corporate communications such as advertising, public relations, sales promotion and related topics. Presentation methods are also covered. And in human resources you learn all about staff, continuing employee education and activities to support the development of junior staff. In addition to learning theory, you spend time in actual departments and experience their everyday work, getting to know the challenges they face and the marvellous feeling of successfully completing a project.
At the end of the second year of training, you take an intermediate exam. In the third year, you work on a somewhat more extensive project in a specific area, which you choose in consultation with your trainer. After you have successfully completed it – a rewarding experience, you can be sure – all that’s left now is to take the final examination, which we thoroughly prepare you for.
